ACTOR'S BIO

Grant Cary Gilbert or as his friends call him, “G” is an American actor and artist from Phoenix, Arizona. His breakout role was in his middle school production of The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, where he played the titular character. In high school Grant was science club president and became interested in discovering more about his multi-cultural background through genealogy. He is of Mexican-American Native and European ancestry. This led him to his eventual partnership with 1MISSION non-profit where he volunteers building houses for families in need near Puerto Peñasco, Mexico.

He trained at the Glendale Community College Fine Arts Theatre Program, where he was honored as an outstanding performer at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. To gain set experience he launched his career in the South East and was featured on projects like Outer Banks and The Electric State. All while booking work on several short films including the award winning Paper Orison and Show No More. He made his feature film debut as “Leo” in the sci-fi thriller Habitat, a story about six volunteers stuck in an unmonitored anthropological study. Running with the momentum of his new film he has signed with Paula Manning at Synergy Talent LA. He has since furthered his training by becoming a certified stunt performer through the Society of American Fight Directors.

When he isn't on set, Grant has worked as a lifeguard and swim/dive instructor. In college he followed his passion for science and studied forensic anthropology in detail. He knows how to run a full expresso bar and can make you a killer novelty latte. His outdoor hobbies include trail running/ hiking but in the studio he likes to paint and throw pottery on the wheel. He is close with his family and fills in the gaps as a caregiver when needed.
